Investigations Underway as 18-Year-Old Student Is Stabbed to Death in Eastern Region
The late Abigail Asare, a second year General Arts student, who was allegedly stabbed to death by Michael Osei, a barber at his barbering shop at Nsutam last Thursday, June 1, 2023.

The police is urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.

The police have launched a full-scale investigation into the tragic death of an 18-year-old female student, Abigail Asare, at the Nsutam Senior High Technical School. Abigail, a second-year General Arts student, was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend, Michael Osei, a barber.

The lifeless body of Abigail was discovered at Osei's barber shop in Nsutam on Thursday, June 1, 2023. According to sources, Abigail had visited Osei at the shop after leaving school for vacation but tragically met her untimely demise.

Preliminary information gathered by the police reveals that Osei, accusing Abigail of infidelity, allegedly stabbed her multiple times, resulting in her tragic death.

The suspect, Michael Osei, is currently on the run, and law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing his apprehension.
The authorities have conveyed Abigail's body to the Kyebi Government Hospital morgue, where an autopsy will be conducted to shed light on the exact cause of her death.

This distressing incident has sent shockwaves through the Nsutam community and the Nsutam Senior High Technical School.
