Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah Urges Ghanaian Politicians to Fulfill Promises and Restore Faith in Democracy

Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah has challenged believers to beseech God for direction in identifying leaders who can propel the nation to new heights.

In a special Father's Day edition of JoyFM's Christian talk show 'A Walk with Jesus,' Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Founder and General Overseer of RoyalHouse Chapel International, passionately appealed to politicians in Ghana to refrain from making promises they cannot fulfill.

The respected Apostle General expressed his concerns about the growing disillusionment among Ghanaians towards democratic practices, attributing it to the failure of politicians to honor their campaign promises.

During the broadcast, Rev. Ankrah emphasized that a significant number of Ghanaians are becoming disenchanted due to the ongoing cycle of unfulfilled promises, greed, corruption, and political infighting. He articulated, "People are hurting and suffering to the extent that we are coming to a place where people are losing faith in our democratic practice."

This loss of faith in politicians and the democratic system, according to Rev. Ankrah, poses a grave threat to the nation's stability and progress.

Expressing deep concern for the current state of affairs, Rev. Ankrah highlighted the responsibility of politicians, who are entrusted with the management of the nation's resources for the benefit of all citizens. He lamented the failure of some politicians to effectively and transparently manage these resources, leading to widespread frustration and disappointment.

The Apostle General warned that if this situation persists, the youth will lose trust not only in political leaders but also in fathers as a whole. He cited the struggles faced by the younger generation, including the difficulty in finding employment opportunities and accessing the nation's resources.

Rev. Ankrah offered a poignant piece of advice to the electorate, urging them to move beyond tribal or party affiliations when choosing their representatives.

Instead, he emphasized the importance of focusing on the character, qualities, and vision of the candidates. It is crucial to select leaders who genuinely have the nation's best interests at heart and possess the ability to bring about positive change.

Furthermore, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah called on all Christians to seek divine guidance through prayer. He encouraged believers to beseech God for direction in identifying leaders who can propel the nation to new heights.

By seeking divine intervention and discernment, Ghanaian Christians can contribute to the selection of visionary and responsible leaders who will prioritize the welfare and progress of the nation.

As Rev. Ankrah's message resonated with listeners on Father's Day, his plea for political accountability and the restoration of faith in democracy carries significant weight.

His passionate appeal serves as a timely reminder to politicians to fulfill their promises, regain the trust of the people, and work diligently for the betterment of Ghana. Ultimately, a collective effort from both leaders and citizens is needed to foster a renewed sense of hope, integrity, and effective governance in the nation.
